About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Stock and Creditor Supervisor to join our team at a leading chemical hygiene products manufacturer in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, reconciling creditor statements, and investigating supplier invoice discrepancies. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in Pastel Accounting software applications and contribute to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile creditor statements against Pastel ledger balances with zero variance.
  • Perform stock counts and reconcile figures to the Pastel Inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and product pricing issues.
  • Process supplier invoices and goods received notes on Pastel Partner.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly creditors age analysis for management review.

Requirements

  • Possess certified experience and proficiency in Pastel Accounting software applications including creditors and stock.
  • Five years experience managing stock and creditors.
  • Manage warehouse inventory items using the Sage Pastel software systems.
  • Use Microsoft Excel software for data lookups and data analysis.
  • Apply your knowledge of double entry accounting principles and taxes.
  • Identify ledger variances and execute journal corrections without accounting errors.
