Our client is a leading provider of innovative transport refrigeration solutions, specializing in servicing and maintaining refrigeration units for trucks and trailers. They are dedicated to ensuring efficient and reliable cold chain logistics across South Africa. Join a dynamic team committed to excellence in the fast-paced transport industry As a Transport Refrigeration Technician, you will service and repair transport refrigeration units, including Carrier and Thermo King models. Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and breakdown assistance. Handle Freon gas systems, including leak checks, recovery, pressure testing, and recharging. Responsibilities also include ensuring optimal performance of cold storage systems and assisting with general trailer maintenance. Job Experience and Skills Required: Relevant Qualification: Refrigeration Mechanic trade certificate. Transport Refrigeration Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience with Carrier, Thermo King, or similar systems. Freon Gas Knowledge: Experience in handling Freon, including leak detection, recovery, and recharging systems. Technical Skills: Expertise in diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs for transport refrigeration units. General Maintenance Skills: Familiarity with trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, lights, and wheel bearings. Apply now
