About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Engineer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing electrical power systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, analysis, and optimisation of electrical power systems.
  • Assist with engineering work related to low voltage (LV), medium voltage (MV), and high voltage (HV) electrical systems.
  • Participate in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and power infrastructure.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and engineering drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams during project execution.
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and operational phases.

Requirements

  • BEng in Electrical Engineering
  • 12 years experience working with power systems, including LV, MV, and HV networks
  • Exposure to testing and commissioning of electrical systems or power infrastructure
  • Understanding of electrical protection systems and power distribution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
