About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Key Accounts Manager (Feed) to join our team in Milnerton. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement volume growth plans for the animal feed sector
- Identify new markets and customers, and liaise with key industry stakeholders
- Draw up sales plans for market, segment, and customer development
- Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales within authorised parameters
- Position prices for the range to provide value proposition and competition benchmark analysis for price decision
- Contribute towards maximising selling opportunities in the animal feed sector
- Continuously monitor stock levels per product and site, and liaise between departments to optimise planning
- Manage MRP of products daily, and report on activities, figures, and market weekly and monthly
- Communicate issues on product quality with QC, and manage sales, logistics, and stocks with the Sales administrator
Requirements
- At least 2 years relevant experience in Agricultural Commodity Trading
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a results-driven mindset
- Effective negotiator with the ability to make quick, data-informed decisions under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence
- Commercially astute with an ability to connect product knowledge to market trends

- Hons BScAgric degree or equivalent qualification
