About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality help content and designing engaging visuals to support our customers’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create clear, accurate help content, such as feature overviews, rollout notes, and how-to guides
- Design engaging visuals, including infographics, videos, icons, and web graphics
- Support internal training and product knowledge sharing across teams
- Review and continuously improve existing documentation as products evolve
- Collaborate closely with Scrum Managers, Business Analysts, and delivery teams to meet customer documentation needs
Requirements
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content
- Strong design skills with tools like Adobe Photoshop or Affinity, and an eye for UX/UI consistency
- Comfortable with documentation tools (Google Workspace), WordPress, and AI-assisted content creation
- Experience creating videos or interactive user guides
- Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset in fast-paced teams
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Product Specialist, Technical Writer, Product Writer, or similar role
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in a software or related technical environment
- Exposure to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and working closely with development teams is advantageous
