The sales team is after the best talent in the Foodservice sector that is capable of developing, closing and building a client book. We are a market leader in the distribution of perishable foods who trades into hotels , restaurants , retailers , butcheries , country clubs , lodges and the franchise group sector. Tele-sales and on the road candidates: Cold call and close over the phone or in person. Set appointments, follow up and develop new clients. Up-sell, grow and build baskets. Report on activity, pipeline and forecasted sales. Market feedback and accurate intel on movements and trends. Develop client routes/ rounds and ensure feasibility of sales into that area. Presentable, marketable, willing, passionate and with a Hunter mentality. Capable of being a team player with independent goals and a consistent work ethic. We cover a large distribution area that gives our talented team access to a wide market, we are aggressive sellers with class and distinction. MUST HAVE Experience in selling Poultry, Beef, Seafood, Dairy or frozen Chips and Veg The position requires: Proven experience as a Tele-sales or on the road representative in the frozen foods and perishable foods industry. (Poultry, Beef, Seafood, Dairy, Chips and Veg) Experience in dealing with hotels , restaurants , retailers , butcheries , country clubs , lodges , franchise groupsetc Capable of cold calling, closing and building a customer book/ base Product focused and self-driven to develop product knowledge Service orientated, problem solver and detail to customer satisfaction Computer literate, well spoken an Highly confident
