About the Role
Career Pathfinders, a reputable Guide Training institute in Mpumalanga, is seeking an experienced Head Field Guide Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our training camp management, you will be responsible for providing exceptional instruction and support to our students, while also contributing to the overall running of the camps.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage maintenance on infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment
- Ensure all firearms are safe, well-maintained, and in good working order
- Liaise with Reserve Management on concession matters
- Supervise Camp Coordinators, cooks, and cleaners, ensuring they report to the correct person
- Mentor students on work experience placement or volunteer basis, following their development programmes
- Provide inspirational and immersive learning experiences for all course participants
Requirements
- NQF 4 qualification
- VPDA.FGASA Level Professional level (3)
- Advanced Trails Guide certification
- Current Advanced Rifle Handling skills
- At least 5 years of related industry experience
- Current NDT Registration
- Current PDPC registration
- Current FGASA Membership
