As the Senior Financial Accountant, youll take ownership of core accounting activities across fixed assets, AP, cashbook, and general ledger management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full AP function, ensuring accuracy, controls, and timely processing Manage the fixed asset register, additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations Oversee daily cashbook management and bank reconciliations Prepare month-end journals, GL reviews, and supporting schedules Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with financial policies, reporting standards, and audit requirements Lead and mentor a finance team, driving efficiency, structure, and accountability Support operational teams with financial insight and problem-solving Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Accounting (essential) 35 years accounting experience plus 3 years management experience Experience in retail, manufacturing, FMCG, or product-based environments advantageous Strong understanding of fixed assets, AP, GL, and cashbook Excellent team leadership capability Advanced Excel proficiency Detail-driven, organised, and confident engaging with both finance and operational teams Apply now and join a proudly South African brand where financial excellence supports quality, consistency, and growth.
