Scaffold Supervisor

Mid Career (3 – 4 yrs exp) | Contractor | Mpumalanga

JOB PURPOSE

To supervise, coordinate, and control all scaffolding and temporary works activities on site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, legally, and in accordance with approved standards, procedures, and risk assessments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must be in possession of the following valid training and certifications:

• Working at Heights
• Scaffold Erector
• Scaffold Supervisor
• Scaffold Inspector
• Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA)
• Legal Liability
• Confined Space Entry
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid Medical Certificate (including Working at Heights)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Scaffold Supervisor
• Previous experience in construction, shutdown, plant maintenance, or industrial environments
• Sound knowledge of SANS standards, OHSA, and scaffolding regulations
