About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Clerk to join our automotive dealer client based in Nelspruit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate warranty administration, maintaining relationships with customers and staff, and providing administrative support to the Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that vehicles under warranty are registered on the warranty system.
- Cross departmental disciplines.
- Compile necessary reports.
- Assist with service administration when necessary.
- Assist with service calls when necessary.
- Check warranty in progress daily.
- Check Job Cards daily.
- Verify sales, manufacturing dates and chassis and engine numbers.
- Check service history.
- Correct allocation of costs.
- Process invoices for outwork accurately and timeously.
- Quotations, when necessary.
- Correct labour costs to be allocated to repair costs.
- Correct errors in warranty claims, when necessary.
- Do general costing accurately.
- Check that previous days invoices are reflected on system.
- Compile necessary reports.
- Assist with warranty administration when necessary.
- Assist with service calls when necessary.
- Banking.
- Track debtors.
- Track outstanding cash.
- Process warranty and maintenance claims.
Requirements
- Matric.
- Computer Literacy.
