About the Role
A medium-to-senior level Receiving Supervisor is urgently needed for a busy, high-volume retail/wholesale operation based in Newcastle. We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee all receiving activities, ensuring stock accuracy and supervising receiving staff while maintaining operational controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily receiving operations
- Verify delivery documentation and stock accuracy
- Investigate discrepancies, shortages, and damages
- Maintain receiving schedules and workflow efficiency
- Enforce safety, housekeeping, and security standards
Requirements
- 35 years experience in retail receiving/stores supervision
- Basic computer literacy (retail systems advised)
- Exposure to retail POS/ERP receiving systems (advised)
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) diploma
