As a Dairy Farm Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of a dairy farm. Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm, including animal care, feeding, and milking
• Oversee and coordinate breeding and calving programs
• Monitor herd health and implement health protocols
• Manage herd records and data management systems
• Implement and maintain strict biosecurity and health and safety practices
• Supervise and manage farm staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
• Manage farm budgets, expenses, and financial record-keeping
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in dairy farming

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Dairy Farm Manager
• Degree or diploma in Agriculture or related field
• Strong knowledge of dairy farming practices and herd management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience in managing farm budgets and financial record-keeping
• Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery
• Valid driver’s license
