⭐ NEW Maintenance Vacancy – Kalahari (Northern Cape) ️ Maintenance Manager (Senior Level) – Luxury Private Game Reserve – Kalahari ➡️ Live-in Role (accommodation included) | Highly attractive package benefits | Meals not included Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Manager for a world-class luxury safari reserve in the Kalahari. This is a hands-on leadership role in a remote environment , responsible for maintaining all infrastructure, utilities, equipment, and staff/guest areas to the highest standards, while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, including training, task allocation, and performance oversight • Maintain all buildings, guest areas, staff housing, and reserve facilities, ensuring high standards and quick turnaround on repairs • Oversee critical utilities and systems, including water (boreholes/pumps), power supply (generators/solar where applicable), and sewage systems • Implement and manage preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and avoid service interruptions • Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality work, cost control, and compliance • Drive health, safety, and environmental compliance, with strong audit readiness and incident response • Assist with operational emergency response when required (remote setting readiness) • Budgeting, cost control, procurement oversight, and reporting for the maintenance department Requirements • Relevant trade qualification (Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Building, or similar) • Minimum 5 years’ maintenance management experience, within luxury lodges (preferred), or luxury hospitality operations • Strong all-round technical ability with proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Solid understanding of remote site infrastructure, utilities, and contractor management • Strong leadership and team management experience • Valid driver’s licence essential • Computer literacy (MS Office and basic reporting; maintenance systems advantageous) • Honest, responsible, and able to work independently in a remote environment Package • Highly attractive, market-leading package (dependent on experience) • Live-in accommodation included • Meals not included • Benefits included To Apply Please submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head and shoulders photograph ASAP.
