About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Relationship Manager to join a dynamic team within the Agricultural Services & Relations Business Division. This exciting role is based primarily in the Ceres / Worcester (Breede River Valley) and Elgin area, with flexibility to reside in or near the service region. The position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, driving strategic agricultural partnerships and delivering high-value solutions across a broad and diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key agricultural customers.
- Promote and sell agricultural products and services tailored to customer needs.
- Strategize and implement initiatives to drive Agri sales growth in alignment with targets.
- Ensure consistent and professional customer service aligned with company standards.
- Gather and analyze customer and market data to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide valuable market insights and competitor activity reports to management.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations.
Requirements
- BSc in Agricultural Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in the agri-business sector, specifically within the packaging material environment.
- Strong customer service focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced sales management and negotiation capabilities.
- Proven ability to handle complexity and exercise sound judgment.
- High level of self-awareness and a strong drive for achievement.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data for business-to-business engagement and growth.
