Job Description

Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, cleaning, and priming materials Apply paints, stains, lacquers, and varnishes using spray equipment Ensure consistent, high-quality finishes across all furniture products Mix paints and match colors according to specifications Inspect finished products for defects such as runs, bubbles, or uneven coating Maintain spray booths, spray guns, and related equipment Adhere to health & safety standards, including proper use of PPE Work closely with production and quality control teams to meet deadlines Assist with general workshop duties when required Requirements: 2 5 years experience as a spray painter Experience working with wood, veneers, MDF, or similar materials Knowledge of different finishes Ability to use spray guns and related equipment effectively Good understanding of surface preparation techniques Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Advantageous: Experience in office furniture manufacturing Knowledge of industrial coatings and finishing systems Experience working in a high-volume production environment
