About the Role
Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, are seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join our client’s team in Paarl. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within a warehouse. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload deliveries of materials, tools, equipment, and products
- Count, verify, and inspect received items for damages or defects
- Store received items in designated storage areas
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment
- Assist with inventory management by updating stock records and conducting regular stock takes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning and organizing warehouse space
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Ability to lift and carry heavy items
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Basic computer skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
