Job Description

A leading industrial services and waste management company is looking for an experienced Mid-Level HR Manager with strong experience in HR operations, industrial relations, and employee relations to join their team in Durban. This role requires a hands-on professional who can effectively manage HR and IR matters, build strong relationships with staff, unions, and management, and support the business in maintaining a positive and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across the KZN region
  • Handle industrial relations matters, including disciplinary processes and grievances
  • Represent the company at CCMA where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, unions, and management
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies
  • Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related matters
  • Assist with implementing HR strategies and initiatives
  • Support training and development processes where required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an HR Manager or HR Officer
  • Proven experience in HR and Industrial Relations
  • Exposure to CCMA representation is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
  • Ability to work independently and handle urgent requirements
