Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Strategically control the Warehouse in conjunction with the companys policies and strategic objectives.
- Control the receiving, picking, packing, and distribution processes effectively.
- Control day-to-day operations of the Warehouse in order to achieve objectives and targets.
- Cost management of all Warehouse activities.
- Ensure stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.
- Oversee, complete, and ensure stock takes are conducted.
- Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported as non-conformances, investigated, and communicated.
- Maintain stock control systems and ensure sufficient stock availability at all times.
- Control and minimize scrap and ensure authorization before any items are scrapped.
- Produce reports and statistics monthly.
- Ensure adherence to the OHS Act.
- Ensure the warehouse maintains and complies with standards of health, safety, and hygiene at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food production industry
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- A thorough practical knowledge of best practices in Operations processes.
- Knowledge of OHS Act
