About the Role
The Administrator: Service Advisor (Non-Technical) role at Nissan Parow is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our service department team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities within the busy service department while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate workflow between Service Advisors, Foreman, Technicians, and customers
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding service bookings and progress
- Communicate effectively with all service department staff
- Ensure vehicle security (vehicles locked, keys secured in key safe)
- Ensure vehicles are prepared and parked correctly each morning
- Assist with quotations and provide support to Technicians
- Support the Service Controller, Foreman, Service Manager, and Reception
- Follow up on parts ordered for the workshop
- Book in vehicles and manage service schedules
- Record and report any comebacks
- Monitor work in progress and outstanding payments daily
- Ensure parts are ordered according to procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Promote and adhere to all safety standards
- Upsell accessories and additional work where applicable
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Advisor
- Valid Service Advisor certification (Toyota or similar)
Qualifications
- Computer literacy (MS Office and dealership systems)
