About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Engineer/Technologist/Technician to join our team in Pietermaritzburg, supporting project delivery across various transportation and municipal infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project delivery across a range of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects
- Assist with feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design work
- Contribute to traffic engineering and transport planning projects where required
- Assist in the preparation of tender documentation, including specifications and bills of quantities
- Design & Documentation: Produce and assist in the development of technical drawings, reports, and documentation
- Review designs and documents to ensure compliance with quality and project standards
- Participate in site inspections and construction monitoring activities
- Implement and oversee construction work as required
- Attend project meetings and compile reports and notes
- Liaise with project leaders and relevant stakeholders

- Good report writing and administrative ability
