House Manager | Private Property | Plettenberg Bay

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and highly professional House Manager for an exclusive private property based in Plettenberg Bay.

This is a senior-level opportunity suited to a polished hospitality professional with exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and previous experience managing high-end private residences or luxury hospitality environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation, and efficiency are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations and overall management of the private property
  • Manage household staff and service standards
  • Ensure immaculate presentation and upkeep of all areas of the residence
  • Coordinate maintenance, suppliers, contractors, and service providers
  • Assist with guest hosting and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage household inventories, purchasing, and stock control
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times
  • Handle scheduling, planning, and administrative duties related to the property

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar House Manager or senior hospitality management role
  • Strong leadership and staff management abilities
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and service excellence
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and highly professional in presentation and conduct
  • Experience within luxury hospitality or private residences is essential

Package:

  • Salary: R40,000 R60,000 negotiable depending on experience
