About the Role
A prestigious Senior Barman / Mixologist opportunity is available at a 5-Star ultra-Luxury safari lodge located in the exclusive Pongola Game Reserve, KwaZulu-Natal. This role is ideal for an experienced Barman or Mixologist who is passionate about crafting bespoke beverages and delivering unforgettable guest experiences in a high-end Safari hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, champagnes, and premium spirits to international luxury clientele
- Deliver personalised, high-touch Luxury service and guest engagement
- Maintain sound stock control, cost management, and inventory skills
- Collaborate within a close-knit lodge team while working independently
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Barman or Mixologist in a 5-star or luxury hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, champagnes, and premium spirits
- Proven ability to deliver personalised, high-touch Luxury service and guest engagement
- Experience working in a remote lodge or Safari environment (highly advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
