About the Role
A prestigious Senior Barman / Mixologist opportunity is available at a 5Star ultra Luxury safari lodge located in the exclusive Pongola Game Reserve, KwaZuluNatal. This role is ideal for an experienced Barman or Mixologist who is passionate about crafting bespoke beverages and delivering unforgettable guest experiences in a highend Safari hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, champagnes, and premium spirits to international luxury clientele
- Deliver personalised, hightouch Luxury service and guest engagement
- Maintain sound stock control, cost management, and inventory skills
- Collaborate with the lodge team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years experience as a Barman or Mixologist in a 5star or luxury hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, champagnes, and premium spirits
- Proven ability to deliver personalised, hightouch Luxury service and guest engagement
- Experience working in a remote lodge or Safari environment (highly advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
