About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Lodge Logistics Coordinator to join our luxury safari lodge in Pongola, Kwa-Zulu Natal. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless logistical support across departments, enabling exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of lodge supplies across all departments
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock takes, manage variances, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Liaise with approved suppliers, drivers, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
- Support kitchen and housekeeping logistics to maintain consistent luxury service and presentation standards
- Assist management with daily operational planning, reporting, and logistical problem-solving
- Maintain vehicle usage records and assist with fuel, supply, and transport planning where required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and lodge operational procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a lodge, hospitality, or logistics coordination role is essential
- Strong organisational, time-management, and written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail under pressure
- Ability to work independently in a remote, live-in environment with limited supervision
- Proficiency in basic administrative systems, stock control, and reporting tools
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
