About the Role

Bidvest Prestige Operations is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their finance department. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of financial transactions and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the finance department of Bidvest Prestige Operations
  • Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely payment and delivery of goods and services
  • Assist in processing payroll and employee expenses
  • Reconcile cash receipts and prepare bank deposits
  • Handle correspondence, including phone calls and emails, related to financial transactions
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in the finance field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

Qualifications

A diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
