We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our Finance Department on a contract basis, reporting directly to the Finance Manager at our South African wheel manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-standards environment within the automotive sector, with possible engagement with head office colleagues in Europe and major OEM customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• CA(SA) qualification (essential)
• > 2 years Post-qualification experience is preferred
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Excel and financial ERP systems
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
• Exposure to a manufacturing or automotive environment is advantageous
• Willingness to collaborate across international teams and time zones

Key Focus Areas:

• Creditor Reconciliations: Assist in resolving long-outstanding unreconciled items with both local and international vendors, with a specific focus on unvouched receipts (GRNI)
• General Ledger Reconciliations: Support an investigation and clean-up of various general ledger reconciliations.
• Foreign Creditors: Support the foreign creditors team with the documentation of a new process and also be responsible for executing detailed work to review, correct, and align historical transactions with current requirements for managing foreign creditor transactions
• Audit preparation: Assist in preparation and execution of the year end audit requirements

Contract Duration:
4-6 months based on project scope and timelines.
