Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical maintenance and repair of diesel engines powering sophisticated mobile refrigeration units
• Perform full engine overhauls
• Conduct cooling system diagnostics
• Provide routine servicing to ensure maximum fleet uptime
• Maintain the mechanical integrity of high-value transport assets while adhering to strict safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Trade Qualification: Must be a Qualified Diesel Mechanic with a recognized Trade Test (Section 13 or 26D)
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of post-trade experience specifically within the transport refrigeration or heavy vehicle sector
• Engine Mastery: Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing small to medium diesel engines
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of cooling systems, fuel injection systems, and mechanical drive components
