About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment firm in Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Roads Design Engineer to join their team. As a key member of our client’s infrastructure development project, you will be responsible for designing roads and road pavement projects that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of roads and road pavement projects
- Compilation, or assist in the compilation of pavement design reports
- Compilation, or assist in the compilation of technical pavement specifications and BoQs for project documents.
- This includes high-capacity freeways, interchanges and bridges, airport pavements, rural roads (including low-volume and haul roads) and municipal roads.
Requirements
- Qualifications: BEng or BTech
- Professional registration with ECSA – PR Eng/PrTech Eng
- Competent with Civil Designer, Civil3D and AutoCAD would be advantageous
- Competent with Rubicon, cncPave and/or similar pavement design packages
- 5 or more years of specific Roads Design experience is a pre-requisite
- Pavement Design Experience
- Experience with COLTO, COTO & general conditions of contract would be advantageous
