Job Summary
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
- Proven track record in internal sales and technical ability
- Good telephone presence
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans
- Good computer skills including typing, Outlook/Gmail, Excel, Word, Google etc
- Technical understanding
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Customer orientated
- Valid drivers license an own transport
DUTIES
- Answering email and telephone enquiries
- Respond to LiveChat on our web site
- Support of the National Sales Manager and sales agents
- Update customers on orders and delivery of those orders
- Assistance of documentation of orders being dispatched (invoicing, packing lists and way bills)
- Update and control of eCommerce platforms including our own web site, Takealot and other retailers
- Market research and assistance of the marketing department
- Listening to understand customer needs and responding appropriately
- Effectively address customer questions and concerns, as well as tailor their pitch to match customer needs
- prioritise tasks and manage time effectively is very important
- Able to understand the changing markets and customer needs and adjusting the way you offer a product accordingly
- Problem-Solving Skills – think critically and come up with creative solutions is valuable
- Collaborating with everyone and their respective departments is essential
- Consistent follow-up with leads is crucial for moving them through the sales pipeline and closing deals
- Good follow-up skills involve being proactive, persistent, and courteous. – Very important, to understand how to be persistent but to not annoy the customer into not doing business
