About the Role
The Afrikaans Receptionist plays a vital role in providing a professional front-office experience and administrative support to visitors, clients, and employees. As the first point of contact, they ensure a welcoming and efficient experience, managing daily operations and contributing to the company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and manage visitor sign-in procedures.
- Answer and direct phone calls while responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and boardroom bookings.
- Assist management with preparation packs such as welcome packs or tender packs.
- Maintain office supplies, handle mail and courier parcels, and perform data entry or filing.
- Update visitor logs, contact lists, and staff directories.
Requirements
- Experience of 1-2 years in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent (matric).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Salary & Benefits
R10k to 15k pm, discretionary bonus (13th check).
