About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our client’s specialist hearing healthcare practice in Bryanston, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical practice environment and be comfortable working with patients requiring ongoing care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient bookings and diary coordination
  • Welcome and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Handle incoming calls and patient enquiries
  • Manage patient accounts, billing, and medical aid queries
  • Assist with medical aid authorisations and follow-ups
  • Perform general administrative and reception duties
  • Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems

Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a medical reception or healthcare administration role
  • Experience with medical billing and medical aid processes
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Syspro (Advantageous)
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
