Job Description
A well-established logistics operation is seeking an experienced Air & Sea Imports Controller to manage the full import process for both air and sea freight. The role requires strong coordination skills, customs knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple shipments while ensuring compliance and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end air and sea import files

Receive and review pre-alerts from origin agents

Verify and process import documentation

Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, agents, and transporters

Track shipments and provide regular status updates

Arrange customs clearance and ensure compliance

Coordinate delivery and obtain releases from carriers

Request and confirm handling charges and freight costs

Obtain Proof of Delivery (POD) and transporter charges

Invoice customs VAT, duties, and related charges

Ensure accurate file closure and record keeping
Minimum Requirements

Proven experience in air and sea freight imports

Strong understanding of customs clearing procedures

Experience working with forwarding and clearing agents

Excellent organisational and time-management skills
