About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Call Centre Operator to join our team, handling critical logistics-related calls and ensuring seamless operations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle truck and trailer breakdown calls and arrange repairs with approved dealers or service providers.
- Provide status updates to Fleet Controllers and maintain breakdown records.
- Authorise and record diesel refuelling at approved stations.
- Capture load information on the system (client details, departure time, load mass, kilometres).
- Record arrival and offloading information for each load.
- Monitor truck movements and investigate route deviations.
- Manage driver journey plans and sleep schedules.
- Respond to incidents such as accidents or hijackings and initiate recovery procedures.
- Manage pool vehicle bookings , inspections, and damage reporting.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
- Diploma in Logistics or Transport Management (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Languages: English (required), Afrikaans (advantage)
