Job Summary

With a strong portfolio across commercial, residential, healthcare, and education sectors, we are expanding our team and seeking a talented and motivated Consulting Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services division. As a Consulting Electrical Engineer , you will be responsible for the design, specification, and coordination of electrical building services systems. You will work closely with architects, other engineering disciplines, and clients to deliver projects from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities: Design and specification of electrical building services including power, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems. Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation. Conduct site visits, inspections, and surveys. Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and sustainability standards. Participate in project meetings and design reviews. Assist with mentoring junior engineers where applicable. Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Minimum [35] years experience in electrical design within building services consultancy. Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, and Amtech. Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., BS, IEC, IEE Wiring Regulations). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is desirable.
