Job Description
Responsible for developing and implementing prescripts for ICT Infrastructure Management. This role involves providing technical advice, support, and capacity building to national and provincial departments to aid in the implementation of prescripts. Additionally, the ICT Infrastructure Manager will monitor the implementation and compliance of systems by these departments and manage the operations, systems, and processes of the Directorate.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the development and implementation of prescripts for ICT Infrastructure Management.
Support the implementation of Prescripts by national and provincial departments through the provision of technical advice, support, and capacity building.
To monitor the implementation and compliance of Systems by national and provincial department.
To manage the Operations, Systems, and Processes of the Directorate.
Qualifications:
Matric
B. Degree in ICT or related qualification within same field (at NQF level 7).
Minimum 5 years at a middle/senior management level.
Minimum 8 years appropriate experience in the ICT Security/Risk environment.
Proficiency in information security frameworks and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST cybersecurity Framework.
Certification in information security practice.
Knowledge of:
Constitution of the Republic of South Africa.
The Government Legislative Framework.
The Public Service Legislative and Policy Framework.
Government programs action such as the National Development Plan.
The key Strategic Priorities of Government, and a sound understanding of Operations management.
