Position: Digital Content Creator
Location: Pretoria

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Digital Content Creator responsible for content creation and production across various customers channels, such as websites, social media platforms (Facebook, Google, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Newsletter etc.).
The primary function of the role is to design and develop video, photo, and graphic assets to drive engagement, acquisition, and retention. The Digital Content Creator is responsible for conceptualising, writing, producing, shooting, and editing best-in-class corporate video productions.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree/diploma in film, graphic design, web design, visual communications, or related field.
- Analytical and creative, a blend of art and science with the ability to think strategically and execute creatively.
- Minimum 4 years experience in visual and motion design, video editing, and 2D/3D animation.
- Any demonstrable experience or portfolio of video editing or animation is a plus.
Duties
- Plan, shoot and edit high-quality video content and photographs.
- Create online video adverts for products, services, and brands. Take part in pre- and post-production processes, including storyboard and editing.
- Transports, set up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.
- Work with the marketing team to plan an editorial calendar, and regularly measure the results to apply data-driven insights to content strategies.
- Create appropriate 2D,3D modelling and animation for social media and web updates.
- Designs and produces collateral material ensuring all graphic design work meets the brand standards. This may include brochures, data sheets, posters, presentation material, multimedia, Illustration, logo design, exhibit material, print ads, banner ads and packaging.
- Creation of content that spans articles, EDMs, internal communication, social media posts, videos, infographic etc.
- Ensure all content adhere to brand and communication stands and are written/produced in a consistent way against the brief/requirements.
- Meticulous in the quality of work produced, with emphasis on creativity, aesthetics and seamlessness.
- Uploading creative content onto the website and social media.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and visual identity.
Skills, knowledge, and attributes required:
- An understanding of branding, marketing, and consumer behaviour and the ability to apply that knowledge to design.
- Videography, video editing, photography, photo editing and general graphic design skills, a requirement.
- Proficiency in OS X platforms with extensive experience in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Microsoft office including PowerPoint/Keynote/Prezi knowledge.
- Proficiency in Flash, Fireworks, HTML, CSS required. WordPress or other content management system preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Demonstrated accuracy with details and commitment to high standards of quality.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented individual with the ability to drive results yet work independently.
- Must be able to establish and develop strong relationships with departmental and organisational stakeholders.
- Leadership skills with a culture of teamwork, continuous learning and improvement while upholding the values of the organisation.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while producing quality work.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
