Job Description
- Manage and maintain Solaris 11 operating systems
- Manage user accounts, roles and permissions to ensure appropriate access control
- Develop and execute backup and recovery plans for critical data and applications
- Analyze systems performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps
- Work with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and integrations
Job Experience and skill required
- 5 – 10 years of hands-on experience in system administration on Solaris 11
- Solaris 11 Administration experience
- Thorough understanding of the setup and administration of the following Solaris 11 technologies (Logical Domains, SMF administration, IPS, ILOM, Network configuration including IPMP)
