Job & Company Description: A well-established and growing company within the reinforcing industry is seeking a proactive and analytically minded General Cost Accountant to join their team in Kempton Park. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate cost analysis, cost control, and contributing to operational decision-making within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional with strong ERP experience (Syspro preferred) who is looking to apply their technical costing skills and grow within a dynamic, solutions-driven organisation. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed cost analysis, standard costing, and variance reporting Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-reduction initiatives Ensure accurate capturing and allocation of production and inventory costs Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency Assist with audits, compliance, and continuous process improvements Utilise ERP systems (Syspro preferred) to ensure accurate cost data and reporting Job Experience & Qualifications: Degree in Cost Accounting or related field (essential) 35 years experience in a cost accounting role Strong ERP system experience (Syspro advantageous) Manufacturing or engineering industry experience highly beneficial Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment Step into a role where your technical costing expertise, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability will directly support operational excellence in a growing manufacturing environment.
