About the Role

Our client is seeking a professional and reliable Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support within a home-based legal practice. The successful candidate will manage general office administration, assist with the preparation of agreements using templates, and attend to occasional court and Master’s Office filings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general legal secretarial and administrative duties
  • Drafting and compiling agreements using existing templates
  • Filing documents at court and the Master’s Office and obtaining dates when required
  • Maintaining organized filing systems (physical and electronic)
  • Reception duties and professional client interaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role
  • Fully bilingual: Fluent in English and Afrikaans (English proficiency is essential)
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
