Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- PFD-PFMEA-Control Plan update for new and old projects at a decided frequency.
- Checking fixture identification with CFT and adding required features for effective checking.
- Detection and Prevention poka-yoke addition in process for new projects for defect free parts production
- Poka-yoke validation sample [Red rabbit] implementation and validation
- GD&T Review along with Metrology and Engineering team
- Trial taking of New Fixture, Gauges & Poka-yoke. Preparing trial reports
- Layout inspection arrangements of Trial parts, PIST and SPC with Metrology. Report sharing with stakeholders.
- Appearance Approval Report [AAR] and sample preparation along with engineering and production team & signoff with customer, Sample preserve as per guideline in the sample room.
- Packaging trial for warpage and damage in handling and in storage. Report preparation.
- WorkStation Standardisation [WSS] for new product, Related documents on the workstations like FPA, SOP, WI, Part variant Matrix, Quality Feature Standard, Defect gallery etc.
- FTR, PTR with customers & note down the observations in tracker.
- Analysis of Problems, update the defect tracker with inputs from related stakeholders as per frequency.
- PPAP document preparation, review and submit to customer along with Engineering.
- Attending Quality Circles and implementing Kaizens.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: Diploma/ B. Tech
- Relavent Work experience: Minimum 05 Years in Development Qualty. Experience with FORD, Toyoya is preferable
- Functional Know – How: Quality, Production, Development or Engineering
- Technical Competencies:
- Experience in Development Quality, Customer Quality.
- APQP, PPAP, Chage Management, Process flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, Work instruction, Production trial, Fitment trial, 8D, Why-Why, 7QC tools, Cause & Effect, DOE, Audit, Data analysis.
- Knowledge of Plastic injection moulding, Ultrasonic welding, Assembly process, Paint etc.
