FLUENT IN AFRIKAANS Plasma Operator (Steel Manufacturing) Rosslyn Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor CNC plasma cutting machines. Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting programs. Set up equipment, align materials, and adjust cutting parameters. Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality. Perform routine machine maintenance. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace. Collaborate with team to improve production processes. Requirements: NQF Level 4 or equivalent (Mechanical/Fabrication) Proven experience with CNC or manual plasma cutting Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail and quality standards Knowledge of metal types, tolerances, and safety practices
