Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities Working in the Project Controls environment, manage and maintain project schedule by: Planning and setting up of project schedule with project stakeholders input using Primavera Following project planning processes and company procedure on all assigned projects Ensure consistency and reliable progress reporting Highlight any deviation within the programme to the Project Manager, and assist with innovative and appropriate planning advice Implement planning logic, understanding inter dependencies and knock-on effects Highlight critical path, Earned Value and appropriate resource loading Track baseline vs actual progress on schedules Highlight risks to ensure project completion on time – raise early warnings with possible impacts to project schedule Weekly reporting to internal and external parties by means of schedule updates and progress reporting Assist subcontractors, align, and integrate project schedules and progress reports The role/s may require time on site either part of the week or full time based on the project phase Understanding of bespoke consulting business models and ability to do business development Process orientated and assertive to ensure that complex projects are executed in accordance with company established practices and safety requirements Bias for action based on logical problem solving and experience Desired Experience & Qualification Relevant qualification advantageous, professional registration highly recommended 5-10 years experience in mining or large infrastructure projects Experience in a similar role, planning of large construction and installation projects For some assignments, knowledge of shut down projects will be advantageous Primavera P6 and MS Projects knowledge essential Understanding of fabrication and installation projects Driven Can-do attitude, with a passion for mega projects Able to work under pressure and to communicate effectively with a wide range of project stakeholders Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the outputs Analytical thinker, energetic and flexible Must be able to work on site, willing to work on rotational basis on projects abroad Power BI experience highly recommended Own transport and valid driver’s license essential Must be medically fit to work on mining/power/construction sites Package & Remuneration Market related – negotiable depending on qualifications and experience Medium to long term renewable contracts, project based Interested?
