About the Role

A well-established audit and accounting firm in Lynnwood is seeking an experienced Professional Accountant to join their dynamic team. With a strong focus on client satisfaction and financial excellence, we are looking for a skilled professional who can manage multiple client portfolios, ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and tax returns, and provide professional advice to clients on accounting, tax, and business matters.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple client portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
Ensure full compliance with SARS, Companies Act, and relevant accounting and tax legislation.
Prepare and review management accounts, annual financial statements, and supporting working papers.
Provide professional advice to clients on accounting, tax, and business matters.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure excellent client service delivery.
Assist with workflow management and support junior staff through coaching and technical guidance.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the Accounting and Advisory department.
Uphold the firm’s standards of professionalism, ethics, and teamwork at all times.

Requirements

Qualification: Completed SAIPA Training contract.
Qualification: BCom Accounting or relevant degree.
Qualification: Registered with SAIPA as a Professional Accountant.
Experience: 2 – 5 years post-articles experience in accounting and tax compliance.
Experience: Experience in client portfolio management and preparation of annual financial statements.
