About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Revit Structure Draughtsman/BIM Coordinator to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural BIM models and drawings, while ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced structural BIM modelling in Revit Structural drafting using Revit and AutoCAD Reinforcing (rebar) detailing
- Assisting engineers with conceptual development
- Producing construction-ready drawings and documentation
- Ensuring accurate quantity take-offs and schedules
- Coordinating across disciplines to resolve clashes
- Managing drawing lifecycle, revisions, and formal issuance
- Reviewing external drawings and advising on amendments
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Structural / Civil Engineering or Draughting
- Strong understanding of structural design principles
- Extensive Revit (Structures) experience
- Proven reinforcing detailing experience
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency
- Navisworks advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and revision control
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
