Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION Process Attending and engaging in RPA project meetings and reviews by contributing domain-specific knowledge and experience. Identify candidate business processes suited to Robotic Process Automation. Design, model and document RPA Solution Specifications. Ensure that business requirements are clearly identified, prioritised and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions. Provide process solution support to institutionalise RPA initiatives. Analyse and make recommendations about improvements to specialist systems, procedures, policies and practices. Reviewing and commenting upon business and functional requirement specifications for RPA projects and maintenance. Draw on own technical or professional expertise, knowledge and experience to identify and recommend tactical solutions to defined problems. Influence and communicate across business areas impacted by practice area to minimise resistance and ensure on-boarding of new thinking. Take accountability for delivery of contracted work outputs within agreed parameters, quality standards and client service targets. Proactively identify interconnected problems, determine its impact and develop best fit alternatives, developing best practice RPA solutions. Recommend changes to optimise processes, systems, practice areas and associated procedures and execute the implementation of change and innovation. Client Ensure customer satisfaction by adhering to quality- and timeline expectations. Participate in the specialist practice community and contribute positively to body of knowledge. Provide authoritative, specialist expertise and advice to internal stakeholders. Governance Ensure that completed work adhere to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations and discrepancies. People Provide specialist know-how, support, advice and practice thought leadership in area of expertise. JOB REQUIREMENTS Qualifications and Experience: Diploma in Business Analysis or relevant bachelors degree. 4 – 6 years’ experience in a business analysis or similar environment, of which 2 -3 years specialising in RPA solutions. Proficiency in process modelling tools. Proficient in writing functional specifications. Familiar with RPA platforms, in particular Microsoft Power Platform. The ability to identify patterns or connections between situations that are not obviously related and to identify key or underlying issues in complex situation. The ability to formulate new concepts based on information gathered. Degree to which one possesses definitive technical and or fundamental understanding of the business. Must be able to systematically identify, analyse and resolve existing and anticipated problems to reach optimum solutions in a timely manner. Ability to be considerate for self and others. Firm belief in the reliability, truth or ability of someone or something. Build diverse and inclusive workplaces where decisions, practices, processes and transactions are transparent and fair. The quality of being upright, truthful, sincere and freedom from deceit or fraud. Guided by values, ability to demonstrate moral judgement and doing the right thing consistently. Activities, tasks and practices associated with obtaining and using high level of knowledge in business areas, functions and products. Ability to determine trends from raw data in various aspects of work at SARS. Contribution to improving operational efficiencies, incl. re-evaluation of processes, policies, procedures and provision of recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. The knowledge and interpretation of relevant functional policies and procedures. Fundamentally rethinking and redesigning business processes, to obtain sustained improvements in quality, cost, service, lead time, flexibility and innovation. Contributions to improving the operational efficiencies within the team, including re-evaluation of processes and provision of recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. Ability to create reports for various SARS stakeholders as relevant, in a lucid and effective manner, keeping in mind the purpose of the reports. This vacancy is open to people with disabilities.
