Job Description

Role Description This leadership role directs the end-to-end lifecycle of the companys internal technology ecosystem and data assets. The position focuses on evolving the organisation from basic data collection to advanced business intelligence, managing internal applications and data sets as high-value products. By bridging technical architecture and executive strategy, the role ensures business systems are scalable, automated, and governed by a “Single Source of Truth” to drive profitability and operational excellence. Team Management & Leadership 20% Direct recruitment, orientation, and professional development to increase team effectiveness. Establish accountabilities, monitor project results, and provide structured feedback to drive performance and culture. Champion an “Internal Product Management” model, treating applications and data as products. Partner with the Architecture, Platform, and Data functions to align infrastructure with business measurement requirements. Ensure business data definitions are communicated and integrated into the enterprise data catalogue. Strategy, Governance & Business Partnership 15% Serve as the primary strategic technology partner for Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Finance. Drive enterprise-wide data value strategy to influence product profitability and risk mitigation. Cultivate a data-driven culture to ensure evidence-based decision-making across leadership. Define the organisational framework for data stewardship, governance models, and quality standards. Develop a product roadmap for business systems to align with digital transformation initiatives. Business Sytem Architecture & Process Optimization 30% Oversee the architecture, configuration, and integration of the business system ecosystem. Critically evaluate solution designs for scalability, ensuring they address complex business logic without hitting system limits. Lead continuous innovation in automation to increase operational efficiencies and reduce manual processes. Collaborate with engineering and departmental leads to drive scalable system designs. Manage the technology stack budget, vendor partnerships, and contract expenditures to ensure ROI and value. Business Intelligence & Analytics 30% Govern the corporate “Business Glossary” and standardised data definitions. Oversee the full lifecycle of internal data products while enforcing source-level data quality. Define and manage strategic intelligence projects from inception to delivery. Direct the design of high-impact visualisations serving as the regulated “Single Source of Truth.” Lead the transition from reactive reporting to a proactive, self-service analytics culture. Advise on data-driven inferences to increase product and company profitability. QMS & Reporting 5% Review and approve records to ensure compliance with ISO, CE, FDA, and other regulatory standards. Maintain software quality standards and adhere to the established Quality Management System (QMS). Assist in auditing infrastructure against compliance standards, including GDPR and HIPAA. Act as the Data Officer for the business system source data to safeguard confidential information. Provide regular reporting on strategy, performance, and prioritisation to the Vice President of Technology. Role Requirements Years of Experience: Minimum 15 relevant years of experience. 5 years of managerial experience. Required Qualifications: Essential: Bachelor’s of Engineering Degree Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics. Desirable: Salesforce Certified Developer / Salesforce Architect Certification / Enterprise Architect Certification, AWS Certified, Tableau Certified Required Nature of Experience: Experience with AWS services focused on data, telephony and data transformations. Treating internal tools (CRM, ERP) as “products” rather than just IT tickets Business System Architecture Business Intelligence Data Visualisation designs (Tableau) SDLC Overseeing data from “source to lake Monitor API usage Vendor stakeholder and contract management Skills and Knowledge (Essential): Salesforce CRM BI Tools (i.e. Tableau, Qlik Sense etc.) Big Data and Data Science applications Salesforce, Back-end and Front-end development knowledge CX and UX Knowledge SQL Knowledge Excellent computer proficiency (especially in GSuite and MS Office Excel) Agile Project Management JIRA or similar Team management Stakeholder liaison and reporting GDPR/HIPAA and ISO compliance Should you not receive a response from us within one week of your application, your application has unfortunately not been successful.
