About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to join our luxury safari lodge in North West, South Africa. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all lodge operations, driving service excellence, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily lodge operations ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
• Lead, manage, and motivate the lodge team to maintain high hospitality standards
• Monitor guest experience and respond effectively to feedback and service recovery
• Coordinate across all departments including housekeeping, kitchen, and guest services
• Manage budgets, purchasing, and operational costs
• Maintain lodge facilities to 5-star standards
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Develop and implement SOPs and operational policies
• Maintain strong presence on the floor and lead by example
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or in a senior role within luxury safari lodges
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal ability
• Guest-focused with a professional and approachable demeanour
• Ability to live on-site and work flexible hours
• Solid understanding of lodge operations, budgeting, and staff management
