About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to manage construction and maintenance projects in Pretoria, ensuring timely completion within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in managing projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project costings, estimates, and material lists
- Control and monitor project budgets and expenses
- Coordinate suppliers and negotiate pricing
- Supervise on-site teams and subcontractors
- Allocate daily tasks and manage productivity
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain high-quality workmanship aligned with estate standards
- Conduct site inspections and oversee compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide hands-on support where required
Requirements
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Knowledge of safe handling of tools, maintenance equipment, and materials
- Awareness of hotel standards, maintenance procedures, and occupational health and safety regulations
- Strong costing and budgeting experience
- Solid knowledge across multiple building trades
Qualifications
