About the Role
Unique Personnel Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage all receiving, issuing, and control of stock within our factory environment. The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory management, assist with logistics coordination, and support general administrative functions related to stock and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming stock, raw materials, and consumables.
- Verify quantities and quality against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Capture received stock accurately on the system (e.g., Odoo or ERP system).
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
- Ensure proper labelling and storage of items.
- Issue stock to production, installers, and relevant departments.
- Ensure correct documentation is completed for all stock issued.
- Maintain accurate bin locations and stock movement records.
- Prevent unauthorized removal of stock.
- Maintain accurate stock levels at all times.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Generate purchase requisitions when stock reaches reorder levels.
- Investigate stock variances and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure store area.
- Conduct weekly/monthly stock counts.
- Assist with full annual stock take.
- Reconcile physical stock to system balances.
- Prepare stock take reports for management.
Requirements
Basic computer literacy (Excel, ERP systems).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Grade 12 (Matric).
