About the Role
A well-established Specialist Orthopaedic Surgical Practice in Pretoria East is seeking an experienced and skilled Theatre Scrub Nurse to join their team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be a confident and detail-oriented nurse with orthopaedic theatre experience who values precision, professionalism, and high surgical standards within a specialist practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during orthopaedic surgeries
- Maintain a clean and sterile operating environment
- Manage patient flow and prioritize tasks effectively
- Collaborate with the theatre team to ensure smooth operations
- Document patient information accurately
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Active SANC registration
- 2-5 years experience in Orthopaedic theatre scrubbing
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Reliable transport
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing (BCur) degree preferred (experienced/suitably qualified candidates will also be considered)
Salary & Benefits
R50,000 – R60,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
